Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia and Slovenian-American Business Council - business event January 22, 2026
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, in cooperation with the Slovenian-American Business Council (SAmPS), organized a professional event aimed at strengthening economic cooperation between Slovenia and the United States of America.
The event took place on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 4:30 p.m., in Hall B of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The meeting offered an in-depth insight into key economic trends and strategic opportunities that will shape cooperation between the two countries in the coming years.
SAmPS presented its main activities, development guidelines and planned initiatives for 2026, with which it aims to strengthen support for Slovenian companies in entering and operating on the American market.
The US Embassy (Mr. Paul Estrada, Economic Counsellor) then presented current economic opportunities, priority areas of cooperation and its planned activities, which will significantly impact the strengthening of bilateral relations. Slovenian business clubs operating in the USA, the Slovenian American Business Association – SABA, Ohio and the American-Slovenian Club in DC presented their achievements to date, concrete experiences from the American business environment and plans for deeper cooperation with SAmPS in the future. Both clubs also signed a cooperation agreement with the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia.
