Slovenian Business Delegation in the USA
What does a good implementation of a business delegation visit to another country look like? So that the right people come together and make an effort for the good of all. The visit of the Slovenian business delegation to the American state of Ohio in May is a good example of the above. Several months of preparation, coordination, and finally confirmation of the visit for 13 successful Slovenian companies and one faculty is the success of several factors. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry or Marko Jare, Matic Volk and Alenka Dovc, the General Counsel of the Republic of Slovenia in Cleveland or Consul General Suzana Cesarek, friends from the city of Akron in Ohio, Samuel DeShazior and Gregg P. Cramer and the Slovenian American Business Association - SABA also from Akron together prepared and implemented a 7-day business visit to the USA (cities of Cleveland and Akron) for Slovenian companies that have shown interest to doing business in or with the US market. And finally very important subjects for confirmation of the good implementation of business delegation? These are successful Slovenian companies and their representatives BizIt (David Rozman and Helena Miš Šmalc), Cinkarna Celje (Tomaž Pevcin), EMO-Frite (Bojan Spolenak), GMM proizvodnja (Peter Tevž), Kolding (Milan Košeljnik, Stanislav Majerič), Koval (Zdravko, Cvetka in Tomaž Zidar), Ledinek Inženiring (Jaka Bradač), LynxCraft(MarkoHozjan), Plastoform (Peter Gorenc), ROTO Eco (Nuša Pavlinjek, Valentina Benkovič), Roto Inox (BlažPavšič), Tehnični biro Jesenice (Metod Repinc), URI (Polonca Vagaja), Fakulteta za tehnologijo polimerov, (Blaž Nardin) who made this visit successful! Without these successful companies and their representatives, the visit would not have been so successful. Our American partners confirmed to us that the quality and knowledge that these companies demonstrated is at a very high level of economic development, which could also be needed in the USA. And so the purpose of this delegation's visit was achieved and an encouragement for other companies to join in new ideas about organizing business visits to other US states.
