Vino Koper - visit
On July 18, 2022, Nika Bendycki, the President of SABA, and Jurček Žmauc, SABA President of the Board of Directors, visited Vina Koper in Koper, Slovenia with the goal of future cooperation.
After a guided tour of the wine cellars, tasting rooms, boutique shop and new restaurant, SABA representatives were introduced to the company's operations and wishes to expand sales to foreign markets, including the USA. The representatives of Vina Koper, were Borut Fakin, the company's director, Boštjan Zida, head winemaker, Aleš Ekstanič, regional manager and Rok Jamnik, oenologist.
SABA representatives mentioned the possibility of market analysis and the search for a potential importer and then distributors, and also provided regular information on potential opportunities for the entry in the US market.
